Great Weekend !

What a GREAT weekend !! Steve and Krysten drove down from Maryland to surprise me -- I knew I was missing them but it really hit me when I saw them....

I've had Steve busy hanging racks for all my punches and he put the Decor Element on my truck -- I think it looks pretty cool ! He fixed the dishwasher, took out the trash --- how have I managed for a month without my sweety ???

Here are two framed art pieces that I wanted to share with you. The "Joy" picture was a gift from my friend, Cindy -- she's soooo sweet ! And, the butterfly picture was my creation - isn't it just too cute ? There are several name frames that I plan to do next. Don't worry - I'll share.

Here is a picture of the back window of my truck....pretty cool - huh ? So, if you see a red Tahoe with this on the back window....honk !!

Gotta get some stampin' done so I'm off to spend the evening in my craft room. Until next time.... happy stampin' ~n~ scrapin' !

My Craft Room

First - here's the Rag Purse I mentioned in an earlier post -- it was soooo easy ! Plan to add a fabric flower to the front to finish it off. I have material to make 3 more of these -- I'll post pictures of them, as well.

Several people have asked for pictures of my new craft room. This was the first room I set up when I got here -- I definitely have my priorities in order ! This layout is working really well - still need to put up racks for my punch storage and add some Decor Elements to the walls -- I hope to get to that next weekend. Enjoy..........

The Big Shot and Quilts !!

Aren't these just gorgeous - all made using the Big Shot !! Anyone who knows me, knows that I can't sew beyond maybe attaching a button. Well - after watching the demonstrations of how these beautiful quilts are made, I bought myself a small Singer sewing machine and I intend to make at least one quilt !! I set the machine up tonight and made a "Rag Purse" - I'll try to post a picture later this weekend. It actually turned out rather cute !

For all you quilters - the Big Shot will cut the same pattern (using Sizzix die) from 6 pieces of material at one time -- simplifying the process for making the blocks. It's soooo cool !!!! Interested in a demo ??

Internet Access -- FINALLY !!!

After 3 weeks without internet access, I can finally get online again -- was experiencing severe withdrawals !! Spent this evening going thru 1000+ emails - still have about 200 to look at, but wanted to share some pictures from Leadership. Once again, Stampin' Up! outdid themselves -- Leadership was AWESOME !! First time in Phoenix - the weather was beautiful but sharing it all with good friends made it even more special.

About time..........

Oh my.....I neglect my blog for a few weeks and it turns into months......life just gets in the way sometimes. One of my goals for 2010 is to get my blog going again - adding a Stamps in the Mail program and several stamping and scrapping classes to go.

With my move to Georgia, lots of good changes coming in 2010.....STAY TUNED !!
